Will was home with Daddy today
IMG_1743
and after I came home and took a nap we headed to dinner at Los Rancheros. Will sat in his Bumbo and was entertained by the soccer match and the wall decor.
IMG_1746
After dinner we stopped by Miller's for a banana split,
IMG_1748
and Will got a little taste. He loved it.
IMG_1759
I would put a small bite on the tip of my spoon and he had no trouble eating it. As soon as all of the flavor was gone, he started getting MAD and wanted more! It was nice out, so I took the opportunity to mow.
IMG_1761
Klif and Will rooted me on from the sidelines.
IMG_1767
Will had fun playing in the bath and Klif kept him entertained.

Then it was time for PJs and bed!

04/17/2011

Will stayed up when Klif fed him before work, and stayed in his crib, talking, until it was time for him to leave. I had Klif bring him into our room and put him in his bouncy seat to watch cartoons. This didn't last long.
IMG_1742
We got up and lounged around the house, and Will was still coughing and his nose was running more. I worked on making muffins for a carry in while trying to keep him happy and occupied.

At one point I even had him in the front carrier, but turned around onto my back so that he wasn't near the oven. He got some meds throughout the day, and was really clingy.
IMG_1739
He wanted to sleep a lot, but would only sleep well when he was being held.

We got out and ran some errands in between naps, and then after his later nap I took him to Caleb and Megan's. They watched him until Klif got off work and picked him up. I was able to get to sleep a little early with Will being watched, which was perfect because I had been fighting a really bad headache all day. Will went to bed with no problems when Klif brought him home.

04/16/2011

I woke up in the night to a weird sound, almost like an intermittent clapping in the monitor, and I went in to check on Will. He was fast asleep, but turned completely on his left side. This was new! I figured the sound was just him bumping into the side of the crib or something. I went back to bed. Before long I heard it again, and then crying. Turns out Will was coughing, and it was keeping him from sleeping well. Klif was up with him this time, and when we decided to feed him I took over and sent Klif back to sleep before he had to get up for work. Will didn't even want much to eat, and was back asleep before long. I laid him down on his side and he didn't even squirm. Will was awake when it was time for him to go to work so he brought him into our room and put him in his swing, hoping to give me a little more time to sleep. No luck!
IMG_1714
Since we were up anyway, I decided to take Will into the Saturday clinic to check out his cough and ears. I didn't even change him out of him jammies.
IMG_1717
We got there about 8:10 and surprisingly no one was there yet. We were the first ones to be seen. The doctor said that his ear infections were gone (thank goodness!) but that there was still clear fluid on the ear which can cause a lot of discomfort. He also speculated that the cough was just a minor cold. He suggested continuing with more regular ear drops to stop his ear pain and some infant Tylenol for the cold and discomfort. On the way home we stopped by WalMart to pick up some drinks for Caleb's cook out. I did get some funny looks for having nothing but a baby and a case of Miller Lite. Oh well. Back at home I gave Will some Tylenol, and I think it helped with his pain a lot. He took his first good nap in a long time.
IMG_1719
I put him down in his crib, he didn't move a muscle, and he slept for nearly 2 hours. We were a little late getting to Caleb and Megan's for the Pacer's game, but I didn't want to wake him up from such good sleeping.
IMG_1722
At Caleb and Megan's Will was definitely a bit out of character, and a little fussier than usual. He was kept occupied by dogs and Megan and Todd, and was soon getting worn out.
IMG_1725
About 30 minutes after his second dose of Tylenol, he was out again, sleeping in his car seat amidst all of the commotion.
IMG_1730
I felt bad for the little guy, and soon we headed home and stayed in for the evening.

He's getting so good at rolling!
IMG_1737
I had him all ready for bed and fed by the time Klif got home, but I once again couldn't get him to stay asleep. Klif rocked him while I got ready for bed and by the time I was done he was fast asleep and I was able to carry him upstairs and put him to bed with no problems!

Nana took Will with her over to watch Lily,

and I picked him up after work and stopping at a few stores on the way home.

I stayed, hoping that Lily would wake up before her mom got home so that I could see her. She slept the whole time, and after her mom got home we went to a few stores with Nana. Will took a couple of very short naps, but was in a good mood for the most part. We got home a little late, and Will took a later than usual nap.
IMG_1681
I didn't let him sleep long and then we played a while. He was in his exersaucer and I was leaning down to pick him up when I saw it - the worst blow out ever. It was already over halfway up his back, and you could see it starting to seep through the fabric. I took him upstairs and laid him on the bare bathroom counter, and tried to get his clothes off in the least disgusting way possible.
IMG_1686
(Can't you tell it is really bothering him?)
IMG_1698
It wasn't easy. By the time we were done there he had poop all the way up to his shoulders. After cleaning him down with baby wipes I put him right in the bath.
IMG_1701
I let him sit and play for a while, and he loved it! He can now hold himself semi-upright in his baby bath, and he sat and kicked the water for a long time. After his bath I got him all ready for bed, and put his new PJs on him. He looks so much older in them! Daddy came home and even though I thought Will was ready for bed, he wouldn't stay asleep.

He stayed up with daddy for a while and I went to bed.

04/14/2011

Will was home with Daddy today. Klif decided that since he stays in his pajamas all day when he is off of work that Will would do the same.

After work I came home and did some yard work while Klif made lunch,
IMG_1651
and then I played with Will a while
IMG_1664
before Nana came to stay the night. I headed to bed and Will stayed up with Nana and Daddy.

Will stayed home with Daddy today. He likes to send me pictures like these while I'm at work.

I came home from work and played with Will while Daddy made lunch, and then we watched a little TV. We put Will's LA Galaxy outfit on him for Chad and Helena since they were playing tonight.

The onesie fits great, but Will has a huge head, so the hat wasn't even close to big enough.

I headed to bed to get some much needed sleep, and after a nap Will went with Daddy and Uncle Caleb to run a few errands. He slept the whole time they were out. He was up late, probably from sleeping so much during the afternoon!

04/12/2011

Klif sent me a text at 4am, that Will was up and wide awake!
0412010429
He never did go back to sleep. Luckily, he was happy!
0412010602
He laid and talked in his crib and Klif had no problem getting ready for work.
IMG_1578
Lori sent me some great pictures of Will playing with his buddy Brayden at daycare. I picked him up after work, and he hadn't napped much at daycare. At home, I fed him and put him in his crib, and he slept for almost 2 hours.
0412111412
I was so glad, because I needed the rest! After our naps we spent the evening playing, and Will was in a really good mood.

He didn't nap again after he woke up from the long nap at 4, and he started to get edgy about 7:30. It was almost time for Daddy to get home so I took him upstairs and got him ready for bed.
IMG_1609
I fed him, and he was fast asleep by the time Klif was home. He fussed for a while before finally going to bed for the night.
